Sweet vegan & gluten-free berry crumble

Süßer veganer & glutenfreier Beerencrumble

When things have to go quickly!

Ingredients:

  • 500 g mixed berries (raspberries & blueberries)

  • 40 g whole grain rice flour

  • 40 g gluten-free oat flour

  • 100 g teff flour (dwarf millet) or buckwheat flour

  • 100 g whole cane sugar/coconut blossom sugar

  • 50 g ground walnuts/almonds

  • 100g vegan butter

  • 1 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp cardamom

  • 1 pinch of rock salt

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C top and bottom heat. Wash the berries and put them in a small baking dish.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and add the vegan butter in pieces and knead into crumbles with your fingers.

  3. Spread the crumble over the berries and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes.

My tip: The crumble is suitable for all doshas. If you want a non-gluten-free version, you can also prepare it with 180 g spelled flour. Other types of fruit such as plums or apples are also perfect for this crumble.
