The best bread substitute made purely from nuts and seeds, vegan and gluten-free.


  • 80 g linseed flour

  • 80 g chopped almonds

  • 100 g sunflower seeds

  • 50 g pumpkin seeds

  • 30 g light sesame seeds

  • 50 g whole flaxseed

  • 30 g ground psyllium husks

  • 30g hemp seeds

  • 2 tsp rock salt

  • 2 tbsp virgin coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp Agni mixture , which can be enjoyed for seasoning and as a tea.

  • 300 ml hot water

  1. Line a loaf pan with baking paper.

  2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix coconut oil with hot water, stir into the dry ingredients and mix well. If the mixture is still too dry, add a little water.

  3. Pour the mixture into the mold and let it rest for two hours.

  4. Bake the bread at 180°C on top and bottom heat for 40 minutes, remove it from the tin and continue baking on the baking paper for another 20 minutes.

  5. Let the bread cool completely before cutting it.

My dosha tip: The bread is suitable for all doshas. From an Ayurvedic perspective, it is a bread that goes well with animal proteins, such as a breakfast egg, but also with spreads, butter or jam. In Ayurveda, classic bread is considered difficult to digest. Spices and plants can support the digestive processes.
