Porridge barley dried fruits

A warm and filling breakfast. Start the day with lots of energy!


  • 1 class Handful of raisins

  • 2 drinks Apricots/dates/figs (unsulfured)

  • ½ cup barley flakes or other flakes

  • ½ tsp ghee

  • ¼ tsp Ceylon cinnamon

  • 1 pinch of dried ginger

  • ¼ tsp cardamom

  • 1 pinch of clove

  • Approximately 1.5 cups of water or plant milk

  • 1 class Handful of seeds or nuts


  1. Roast cardamom, cinnamon and cloves in ghee, add barley flakes and pour in water or milk/vegetable milk.

  2. Add dried fruits and cook until soft. Garnish with seeds or nuts.

If desired, sweeten with a little honey.
