Healthy diet

Foods and spices have different properties that can strengthen or reduce our body energies (doshas). In Ayurveda, the following principle applies: More of the same means the same, opposites balance each other out and bring our body and mind back into their original balance.

Restful sleep

In Ayurveda, a good night's sleep is essential for the regeneration of body and mind. A healthy diet and lifestyle allow you to experience a vital day full of prana (life energy) and a restful night. This allows cells and organs to regenerate.

Inner balance

Svastha is the ayurvedic term for health and translates as “resting in yourself”. Not only is good physical functioning of the organism essential for this, but mental and emotional balance is also very important.

The three doshas

An Ayurvedic constitutional analysis is all about the three biological forces Vata, Pitta and Kapha, which are present in your body and mind in varying degrees. Each individual and has different physical and mental characteristics.
Ayurvedic doctors and therapists use certain methods in an anamnesis interview to figure them out and to be able to give type-specific recommendations.

Vata

Vata stands for all movement processes in the body and mind such as breathing, cell activity, excretion, nerve impulses, and setting functions in motion.

Pitta

Pitta regulates the transformation processes in the body. Food is broken down and digested, tissue is broken down and heat in the body is regulated.

Kapha

Kapha is the structural principle and ensures healthy tissue, a strong immune system and a stable musculoskeletal system.
